Having grown 400% in the last 4 years, the Edinburgh Anaesthesia Festival (EAF) has become Scotland's largest annual Anaesthesia, Pain Management and Intensive Care conference, attracting 500 delegates over 3 days. Exhibition area – Cromdale Hall

Refreshments and lunches will be provided within the Cromdale Hall, ideal for Sponsors to display merchandise and network with registrants, speakers and trade industry peers.
Trade stands will be staggered throughout the hall to maximise exposure to registrants. A competition will be heldto encourage registrants to attend at least 6 stands (Registrants will obtain a stamp at each trade stand. A minimum of 6 stamps is required to enter a prize draw.) This competition proved extremely popular in 2018, many delegates submitted 2 or 3 entries.

This versatile hall provides 1,185 m2 of carpeted exhibition space, full air conditioning, 4.2m Clear Headroom, Street Level Deliveries Access, Secure, Covered Loading Bay.

Brand promotion
We can promote your company on Twitter (2,712 visits during EAF 2018), Facebook (2,600 ‘likes’), Direct Mail to >1,500 anaesthetists, Abstract Journal, EAF website ( and our various marketing campaigns.

Media exposure

The EAF advertises in various medical journals worldwide, including the Anaesthesia News, Royal College of Anaesthetists Bulletin, ANZCA (a combined readership >35,000). All adverts have a QR code linking to the EAF website where our Sponsors are promoted. As part of the EAF marketing campaign, flyers and posters are sent to over 200 UK hospitals and >1,000 previous attendees. In 2017, the Royal College of Anaesthetists supported the EAF as part of their Silver Jubilee Celebrations.


Delegate Profile
As the largest Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Pain Management meeting in Scotland, the EAF attracts a specialist audience including Consultant Anaesthetists, Professors, Senior Lecturers, Trainees, Clinical experts and Research staff with approximately 500 delegates attending over 3 days.

In 2018:

  • 82% of delegates attended from the UK
  • 56% from Scotland (Edinburgh 81, Glasgow 32, London 10, Aberdeen 7, Inverness 6)
  • 51% of registrants attended the EAF for the first time, demonstrating the potential growth in the years to come.
