Prof Anupama Wadhwa
Professor of Anesthesiology, University of California, San Diego
Dr. Wadhwa completed her medical school and anesthesia residency in Mumbai, India. Thereafter, she further trained in Melbourne, Australia. She joined the University of Louisville as a Clinical Research Fellow. She continued at the University of Louisville from 2002 as Assistant Professor and climbed ranks to full Professor in 2014.
In 2017, she moved to Norton Hospital as their Medical Director and Chief of Anesthesiology. She has been active with the ASA throughout her career and has actively participated in committees as member and has been the Chair of Abstract Review committee for Regional anesthesia for the last 4 years. Dr. Wadhwa has delivered numerous lectures and panels at the ASA and IARS and on multiple international venues including the World congress. She will be the President of ISPCOP in October 2017 and will serve for 2 years.
