The Venue

Following the huge success of previous years’ meetings, our 32nd Edinburgh Anaesthesia Festival will remain in the world class Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC). The EICC is right in the heart of the city centre and a short walk from a great selection of three, four and five star hotels.

Edinburgh

An UNESCO World Heritage Site, the capital of Scotland is an architectural mixture of medieval wynds and neoclassical elegance – a beautiful and historic city which comes alive in August. We have organised our meeting to coincide with the world famous Festivals such as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Edinburgh International Book Festival and the Edinburgh International Festival.

Social

All delegates are invited to our Welcome Drinks Reception, at the EICC on Monday 13 August 2018, following the first day of talks – a fantastic chance to network with peers and speakers. No need to book.

The annual Edinburgh Anaesthesia Festival Dinner will be held on Tuesday 14 August, 8pm. This Dinner was sold out in 2017. The evening starts with a Private Viewing of Rembrandt and Drinks Reception at the Royal Scottish Academy followed by 3 courses of Scottish Fine Dining. This is extremely popular and sold out in 2017. Booking required.
