Dr Adrian Sultana MD (Malta) FRCP (Glasg) FANZCA is a consultant anaesthetist in private practice since in Sydney, Australia. He trained in General Medicine in the UK, graduated FANZCA in 1993 and holds a Conjoint Lecturer post at the University Of New South Wales.
Dr. Sultana has a long-term interest and experience in anaesthesia and perioperative management of bariatric surgical patients, is currently the Executive Secretary of the International Society for the Perioperative Care of the Obese Patient.
His current research interests include novel airway techniques during anaesthesia for the morbidly obese; target controlled intravenous anaesthesia and opioid free anaesthetic techniques for Bariatric Surgery.
